Amazing Food and Service !! Chips were fresh. Salsas are tasty with a variety of flavors. Burrito and tacos are 10/10 flavor wise.
Man. I came here with my boys. We always kids iffy about going inside but man, Their street tacos was fire.
I can't believe I have lived in vallejo all this time, and i just now noticed this place smh. The food was great. My wife got the "shrimp & crab enchilada." She says the seafood tasted fresh, and the sauce was good and tasty I being a simple person, just got their super burrito without the pico sauce (I can't handle spicy food ) and it was delicious. They gave me a good helping of ground beef, and they didn't skimp me on my avocado. O, I almost forgot I also got there in house churros, and they were perfect. Freshly made, and they come with a sweet filling but not too much to overpower the sweet cinnamon sugar taste. The staff were friendly and patient as I took a little while to make my selections on what to eat. I definitely recommend this place. The only downside is that there is limited parking at this location.
This place is soooo good i had the ceviche de camaron .... Service was great guy in front kept checking on us Definitely coming back .... Oh and they gave us some churros as a complimentary ....
Very good posole here. Fits my craving when I have it. We also ordered the ceviche mixto which was very fresh delicious, and surprising filling as we got this as an appetizer. Would come back. Also the churro is delicious end to the meal.
Cute little place off the beaten path we found on Yelp as we were driving thru Vallejo. First of all the service was fabulous. The person behind the counter was so sweet and welcoming. He happily told us his favorite dishes as well as what was popular. Their vast menu is on the wall with photos and can be overwhelming. He told us everything could be customized. I went with his recommendation of California burrito without rice and with el pastor meat (pork cooked with pineapple) it was really good. Not too sweet, salty or spicy. My hubs loves chimichanga so he got that with the shredded beef (which was a bit too salty but otherwise good) They gave us tortilla chips that were nice and crunchy but not oily and there's a salsa bar with several different salsas (the other bins for veggies were mostly empty.) He also gave us complimentary churros that were crispy on the outside and warm and gooey inside. I don't know if he was an employee, manager or owner but having such a nice and jolly person attend you is a big part of a good experience. I would come here again d ever in the area. Thanks for a nice meal.
We went because of the crazy number of good reviews!!!! They deserve it, the service is great the food is amazing!!! The prices are fair!! This place is our new spot in Vallejo!! They even gave us free churros!!
(Ordered it as a take out). I opted for the Super Steak Burrito. The portion is quite huge and I only ate half for dinner. I love all the sides it came with. They were also very generous with their hot sauce. I thought it was good but I wish the rice was not as dry. Overall it's a 4/5 stars.
Probably my favorite Mexican food in all of the Bay Area. This place is such a hidden gem. The plates are so flavorful and they do not skimp out on the shrimp. Aside from the meal, the service here is so friendly. We met the owner and he kept checking in on us. Even tho we only had water cups, he insisted we tried the horchata and gave us some free churros! My boyfriend recently went on a cruise to El Tesoro and he said our meal reminded him exactly of the food he had out there. Definitely worth trying out this restaurant!
I have to give this place 5 stars. We visited on an impromptu dinner date the night before I was going out of town for work. It was fairly low traffic in the establishment when we arrived- which was a surprise because Chris's next door was jumping with folks in/out. I was happy to sit in with just one other occupied table. We ordered: Crab enchiladas for him Camerones ala Diablo for me I subbed my rice for a salad. I like that there is a salsa bar so we dabbled and tasted the sauces while we wait on our food. The food is obviously cooked to order so there was about a 20 minute wait and then things started coming out. My salad was divine perfect simple and then his crab enchiladas were on point I would definitely go back and get those. my shrimp was bathing in a spicy sweet sauce- the sweetness is not my favorite however, it wasn't bad either, I ate a few shrimp and got with the salad. For some reason I don't think the beans agreed with me because I couldn't finish my food. I ended up feeling instantly bloated. I just know that their recipe for the refried beans are not for me while my husband loved them. While we were sitting there and finishing our food and just talking, they were cleaning the other side of the restaurant, playing music taking orders, and then the server brought us a small plate with some churros and cream on it which I thought that was a wonderful touch and complementary. They're close to my house, so I definitely will go back and honestly it wasn't our first time eating there. We had ordered out burritos from there a while ago, but I think dine in is a much better experience. The server was amazing.
